Magnitude 2.0 Earthquake felt in Franklin, Dillsboro and Cullowhee NC

An earthquake (or something that shook our house) was felt and heard by many folks in the Franklin, Cullowhee, Dillsboro Tuesday night at approximately10:45 pm.
Did you feel it?
This makes at least three shaky quakes we have felt in WNC over the past year. The quake that took place in the Washington D.C. area a few months ago ended up being felt in Franklin NC quite significantly… Even more so than Tuesday night’s. I can remember sitting at my desk, on my computer, and watching my monitor sway back and forth. Definitely an creepy feeling.
Hope all is well out there in WNC and beyond!
